Kenneth C. Eze

Kenneth is a principal associate at Greenfields Law and a member of the firm’s Information Technology, Sports and Entertainment, Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Corporate Advisory, Regulatory Compliance and Public Policy and Governance Practice Groups.  He is a highly motivated and creative attorney who enjoys assisting clients in developing prevention mechanisms as well as solving assorted complex legal problems.  

Kenneth joined the Firm in 2020 after an active litigation practice in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria, He is a versatile advocate who has effectively represented individual and corporate clients on diverse cases in the various levels of Nigeria’s court system as well as administrative and quasi-judicial bodies. He is also trained and skilled in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), especially mediation and conciliation, and has utilized a combination of these skills to successfully handle clients’ legal needs.

Being passionate about sports and using the experience garnered as a semi-professional footballer at Ebonyi United Football Club, he loves to engage in freelance football talent scouting exercises. He advises and assists sportspreneurs and proprietors on the various levels of their legal, regulatory, administrative and business needs including registration, licensing, intellectual property, management and documentation. He regularly guides players on employment and representation contracts and was part of the Greenfields Law team that successfully negotiated the legal, operational, regulatory and structural framework for the establishment of the Olympique du Marseille Football (OM) Academy in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.

In the Corporate Advisory and Regulatory Compliance Practice Groups, he has advised individual and corporate clients of the firm on diverse areas of Nigerian law including foreign participation, repatriation of funds, cybersecurity, cloud services, business formation, intellectual property (IP) protection, licensing, statutory filings, et cetera. In these regards, he regularly engages with the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Nigerian Communications Commission and other similar statutory regulatory agencies.
